How to use the MerlMC Modpack to enhance your experience

Although you can play MerlMC with a completely vanilla client, we have made a modpack full of useful mods that will enhance your experience with MerlMC. For those less familliar with modding the game, using this pack should be rather easy to get started with

This pack includes:

• Recommended mods already installed (Sodium, Distant Horizons, Essential, etc),

• Pre-Installed Resource Packs & Shader ready to apply,

• Voice Chat Mod ready to go! (Click "V" in-game to set up),

Feel free to use this pack as is, or as a base to add your own mods to (if you know what you're doing) or not use it at all. Up to you!

How to use

You can use a seperate Minecraft Launcher to load this modpack. If you use the Modrinth App, you can simply search for MerlMC in the modpacks, find it and install and play straight away. However launchers like GDLauncher or Prism Launcher allow you search modrinth for modpacks or import a .mrpack file.

Download the modpack (.mrpack) through modrinth here.

You can technically install this into Lunar Client by dragging and dropping the .mrpack file, but they don't allow as much mod customization, so we'd recommend using a different launcher if you can. Install and open your launcher of choice and create a new instance. When asked to import one, simply select the .mrpack file downloaded from Modrinth.
